Managing Files and Folders

Organization plays a key role in efficient workflow and this is especially true for managing files and folders in Frame.io. This guide will provide you with a basic understanding of file and folder management within projects.
Creating and Adding Files
- Open your desired project.
- Click on '+ New' found at the upper-right side.
- Select 'File' or 'Folder' based on your requirement.
- For Files, you can browse or drag and drop from your system.
- For Folders, give it a name and it will be created in your project.
Managing Existing Files and Folders
- All files and folders are listed within your project.
- Hover over any file or folder to see the 'Action' button.
- Clicking on 'Action' reveals options like 'Rename', 'Move', 'Duplicate', 'Download', 'Delete'.
- You can also 'Share' files and folders from here.
