Creating and managing projects are the foundation of your workflow on Frame.io. This guide walks you through the process step-by-step, ensuring your first project creation is smooth and hassle-free.
How to create a project
- Log into Frame.io.
- On the main dashboard, find and click on the '+ New' button located at the top right.
- A drop-down menu will appear. Click on 'Project'.
- You are now presented with a dialog to enter your project's details.
- Enter your 'Project Name' and 'Project Description'.
- Choose the 'Project's Privacy' setting as per your requirement.
- Click 'Create Project' to finalize.
Adding Files to your project
- Upon creating a project, you will be directed to the project page.
- To add files, click on the '+ New' button again, but this time go for 'File' or 'Folder'
- A dialog will open allowing you to drag and drop files or browse your local storage.
Congratulations! You have just created and added files to your first project. Remember, you can always come back to add more files, invite collaborators, or fine-tune details as you move forward.
