Adding and Managing Team Members

Collaborating effectively requires bringing the right people together. Nexus Reform provides a streamlined process for adding team members to your projects and managing their roles and permissions.

Adding Team Members

  • Navigate to the "Team" Section: Within your project, select the "Team" tab to access the team management feature.
  • Invite Team Member: Click the "Invite Team Member" button.
  • Enter Team Member's Email: Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
  • Select Role: Assign a role to the team member. Common roles might include:
  • Project Manager: Responsible for overseeing the project's progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Team Member: A member of the project team responsible for completing assigned tasks.
  • Observer: Can view project information and updates but cannot make changes or contribute tasks.
  • Send Invitation: Send the invitation to the team member.
  • Accept Invitation: The invited member will receive an email with a link to accept the invitation and join the project team.

Managing Team Members

  • View Team Member Details: Click on a team member's name to view their profile information, including their role, last activity, and any tasks assigned to them.
  • Update Roles: You can change a team member's role by selecting their profile and choosing a different role from the dropdown list.
  • Remove Team Member: If a team member needs to be removed from the project, select their profile and choose the "Remove" option.
  • Assign Tasks: You can directly assign tasks to specific team members.
  • Set Permissions: Depending on the project's settings, you may be able to adjust the permission levels for individual team members. This can control which features they have access to and what actions they can perform.
  • Communicate with Team Members: You can use the project chat or task comments to communicate with individual team members or the entire team.

Team Management Tips

  • Clear Roles: Ensure that each team member has a clear understanding of their role and responsibilities.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication channels to facilitate collaboration and address any questions or concerns.
  • Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to team members to encourage growth and improvement.
  • Recognition: Recognize and acknowledge team members' contributions to boost morale.
