Creating Your First Journey

Journi is designed to simplify your travel planning and make your adventures more enjoyable. Let's get started by creating your first journey in the Journi app!
Getting Started
- Download the App: Download the Journi app from the App Store or Google Play, depending on your device.
- Create an Account: Sign up for a free Journi account using your email address or social media login.
- Start a New Journey: Tap the "Add Journey" button at the bottom of the screen.
- Name Your Journey: Give your journey a descriptive name, such as "Hawaii Trip 2024" or "Roman Holiday."
- Choose Your Destination: Enter your destination city, country, or region. Journi will automatically suggest relevant locations based on your search.
- Set Dates: Enter your arrival and departure dates.
- Select Travel Type (Optional): If your journey has a specific focus, like a hiking trip or a road trip, you can select the appropriate travel type for more tailored recommendations.
Adding Destinations and Activities
- Add Destinations: Add specific locations you plan to visit, such as cities, towns, or national parks. Journi will help you visualize your route on a map.
- Plan Your Itinerary: Add activities to each destination. Use Journi's built-in search to find attractions, restaurants, museums, and more.
- Add Transportation: Include transportation details like flights, trains, buses, or car rentals. You can even add driving directions for road trips.
- Organize Your Days: Arrange your destinations and activities in the order you plan to experience them, creating a structured itinerary.
Customizing Your Journey
- Add Notes and Reminders: Add any notes or reminders that will be helpful, such as restaurant reservations, packing lists, or important details.
- Set Time Allocations: Estimate the time you'd like to spend at each destination or activity to ensure a balanced itinerary.
- Add Images and Videos: Personalize your journey with photos and videos to capture your travel memories.
Enjoy Your Journey
Once your itinerary is set, tap the "Save Journey" button. You can now access your planned journey at any time, even offline! Use Journi to find local tips, directions, and more during your trip.
