Understanding Gift Tracking and Notifications

Babylist makes it easy to stay organized and informed about your gifts. Here's how the gift tracking system works and how to manage notifications:

Tracking Your Gifts

  • Gift List: Your Babylist registry automatically tracks gifts that have been purchased, even if they're not purchased directly through the website.
  • Updates and Notifications: You'll receive email and/or text notifications when:
  • A gift is purchased
  • A gift is shipped
  • A gift is delivered
  • Managing Your Gift List: Log in to your Babylist account and visit your registry to:
  • View Purchased Gifts: See which items have been purchased and by whom.
  • Mark Items as Received: Once you've received a gift, mark it as "received" so you know what's on its way.
  • Update Gift Information: Edit gift details if needed (e.g., if a gift was exchanged for something else).
  • Gift Delivery Tracking:
  • Tracking Links: You'll often receive tracking links by email or text to monitor the status of your gifts during delivery.
  • Visual Tracking: Babylist's website displays estimated delivery dates and real-time updates on gift shipments.

Managing Notifications

  • Personalize Your Settings: Control which notifications you receive by adjusting your email and text settings in your Babylist account's profile section.
  • Frequency: You can customize the notification frequency to your liking, choosing to get updates for every gift purchase, for shipping milestones only, or for deliveries only.
