Recording Live Streams Locally or to Cloud Storage

Switcher Studio allows you to record your live streams for later viewing, sharing, or editing. This is incredibly useful for archiving your content, creating on-demand videos for your website, or repurposing your live stream for different platforms. You have two main options for recording:
Recording Locally
- Local Storage: Recording locally saves your live stream directly to your device's internal storage.
- Enabling Local Recording:
- Open Switcher Studio: Launch the Switcher Studio app on your iOS or Android device.
- Go to Settings: Navigate to the app's settings menu (often found by tapping the gear icon).
- Enable Local Recording: Look for the setting that allows you to enable local recording.
- Choose Recording Quality: Select the desired recording quality, typically including options for resolution, frame rate, and encoding.
- Starting and Stopping Recording:
- Start Recording: While you're live streaming, tap the record button or a similar icon to begin recording your stream to your device.
- Stop Recording: When you're done recording, tap the same button to stop the recording process.
- Accessing Recordings: Once you've stopped recording, your video will be saved to your device's storage. You can access it through your device's file manager or photo library.
Recording to Cloud Storage (Switcher Studio Pro Subscription)
- Cloud Storage: Switcher Studio Pro offers a cloud storage feature that lets you record your live streams directly to the cloud.
