  Carefully unpack your Tachus modem and locate the following components:

 Plug the power adapter into the modem and then plug the other end into a power outlet.

 Using the provided Ethernet cable, connect one end to the "Internet" or "WAN" port on the back of the modem and the other end to your wall jack.

  Power on the modem by pressing the power button. 

  Allow the modem to fully power on and connect to the internet.  The lights on the modem should stabilize, indicating a successful connection.

 Unpack your router and locate the following components:

  Plug the power adapter into the router and then plug the other end into a power outlet.

  Using a separate Ethernet cable, connect one end to the "Internet" or "WAN" port on the back of the router and the other end to the "LAN" port on the back of your modem.

  Power on your router by pressing the power button. 

  Look for the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password on a sticker on the bottom of the router.

 With your device, search for the Wi-Fi network name and enter the password.
