Your wish list is your key to receiving awesome gifts in your Elfster exchange. It allows you to share your interests and preferences with your giftee, making sure you get something you'll truly love.

  Log into your Elfster account and go to the exchange you're participating in.

  Look for a tab or section labeled "Wish List," "My Wish List," or something similar.

  Add more items to your wish list until you're satisfied.

 Include multiple items in different price ranges to give your giftee options.

  Provide links to the exact items you want (not just general descriptions).

  Add notes or reasons for wanting each item.

  Choose items that are within the gift exchange budget.

  Update your list as your preferences change.

Creating and Managing Your Wish List

Struggling to find the perfect gift for your giftee? Elfster offers helpful features to provide gift suggestions based on your giftee's wish list and preferences, making the process easier and more enjoyable.

  Once you've been matched, you'll have access to your giftee's wish list.  Navigate to their profile or the "Wish List" section of your exchange. 

Step 2: Look for Gift Suggestion Features:

  Elfster might have various features to help you:

  Start by reviewing their wish list thoroughly for inspiration.

  Look at the suggested products or categories provided by Elfster. 

  Many platforms have filters to narrow down your search based on price, category, or other criteria.

  If your exchange has a specific theme, use your giftee's wish list to find items that align with the theme.

  Focus on items that genuinely interest your giftee, even if they're not at the top of their wish list.

  Don't be afraid to explore gifts outside of their wish list but still aligned with their interests. 

  Consider adding a thoughtful element, like a personalized card or small gift alongside the main gift.

Getting Gift Suggestions

Once you've joined an Elfster exchange and created your wish list, the excitement of the matching process begins!  Elfster randomly assigns each participant a "giftee," ensuring everyone has someone to buy a gift for, and someone to receive a gift from.

 Elfster utilizes a random algorithm to ensure fairness and unpredictability in the matching.

  There's usually a designated deadline by which the matching process is completed.  

  You'll receive a notification (email or text message) when you've been matched with your giftee.

 You'll be able to view your giftee's information, including their name and a link to their wish list.

 Now's the time to browse your giftee's wish list and find the perfect gift!

  Elfster may provide additional gift suggestions based on your giftee's wish list and preferences.

  You cannot choose your own giftee.  The matching process is designed to be random and fair.

  Your giftee's information is kept private until the matching process is complete.
