Adding products to Booqable is the first step to setting up your rental business. This guide will walk you through creating your first product listing and setting up its essential details.
Adding a Product
1. **Navigate to "Products" in the main menu.** This will take you to the product management section.
2. **Click the "Add New Product" button.** This will open a form where you can input product details.
3. **Enter the product name.** Choose a descriptive and easy-to-understand name for your product.
4. **Upload a product image.** Select a high-quality image that showcases your product effectively.
5. **Provide a detailed description.** Write a clear and informative product description, highlighting key features and benefits.
6. **Specify product category:** Choose the relevant category for your product from the available options.
Setting Up Product Details
- Pricing: Define the product's pricing structure, including daily, weekly, or monthly rental rates. You can also set up discounts or special offers.
- Availability: Set the product's availability based on specific dates and times. Indicate when the product is available for rent or booked.
- Quantity: Enter the number of units of that product you have available for rent.
- Inventory: Assign the product to a specific location or inventory group. If you have multiple rental locations, make sure to specify the relevant one.
- Policies: Define the booking policies for this product, including cancellation policies, minimum rental durations, and other terms and conditions.
Publish Your Product
Once you've filled in all the necessary details, review the information and click "Save" or "Publish". Your product is now live and available for booking!
