Mountain America Credit Union's Mobile Deposit feature allows you to deposit checks directly from your smartphone, saving you time and trips to the branch. It's a convenient and secure way to manage your finances on the go.
Setting Up Mobile Deposit
1. **Download the Mountain America Mobile Banking App:** If you haven't already, download the Mountain America Mobile Banking app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. **Log In:** Enter your Online Banking username and password to access the app.
3. **Find the Mobile Deposit Feature:** The Mobile Deposit feature is typically located within the app's menu or by tapping the "Deposit" or "Check Deposit" button.
4. **Follow On-Screen Instructions:** The app will guide you through the process of setting up Mobile Deposit. You may need to provide information about your checking account and verify your identity.
5. **Agree to Terms and Conditions:** Review and accept the terms and conditions related to using Mobile Deposit.
6. **Activate Mobile Deposit:** Once you've completed the setup process, Mobile Deposit will be activated on your account. You are now ready to deposit checks.
Depositing a Check Using Mobile Deposit
1. **Open the Mobile Banking App:** Open the Mountain America Mobile Banking app on your smartphone.
2. **Select "Mobile Deposit":** Within the app's menu or by tapping the "Deposit" or "Check Deposit" button, select the "Mobile Deposit" option.
3. **Enter Check Information:** Enter the check's amount and any other required information.
4. **Take a Picture of the Check:** Follow the instructions provided by the app to take clear pictures of both the front and back of the check. Ensure the images are well-lit and free of shadows.
5. **Review and Submit:** Review the captured images of your check and submit the deposit.
6. **Confirmation:** You will receive a confirmation message once the check has been successfully submitted for processing.

- Ensure Clear Images: Take clear pictures of the front and back of the check, free from shadows or glare.
- Double-Check Information: Carefully review the amount and any other information entered before submitting the deposit to prevent errors.
