Reading Articles in Feedly

Here's a breakdown of different reading options available in Feedly:

  • Full-Page View: The default view in Feedly displays articles in their original website format. This provides a complete and immersive reading experience, allowing you to see all the original elements of the article, including images, videos, and interactive components.
  • Reader View: For a cleaner and more focused reading experience, switch to Reader view. This feature removes distracting elements like sidebars, ads, and navigation menus, leaving you with just the essential text and images of the article.
  • To activate Reader view, simply click the "Reader View" icon located in the top-right corner of an article.
  • Offline Reading: Use the Offline mode to save articles to your device for later reading. This is ideal when you're traveling or have limited internet access. You can access your saved articles even without a network connection by clicking the "Saved" tab in the left sidebar.
  • Select the "Offline" icon, located next to the Share icon, to save an article for later.
  • Mark Articles as Read: Keep your feed organized by marking articles you've read. This allows you to focus on unread content and avoid repeating previously read items.
  • To mark an article as read, click on the star icon next to the article title. The star will be filled in, indicating the article has been marked as read.
