Creating Reusable Workflow Templates

Last updated July 30, 2024

Enflow empowers you to streamline your automation efforts by creating and utilizing reusable workflow templates. Templates provide pre-defined workflow structures that can be easily customized and deployed for various scenarios, saving time and effort.

Building and Utilizing Templates

  • Identify Repetitive Tasks: Analyze your workflow processes to identify common tasks or sequences that are frequently repeated.
  • Create a Template: Within the "Workflows" section of Enflow, select "Create New Workflow." Name it with a clear and descriptive template name, for example, "Lead Follow-Up Template".
  • Define Template Structure: Configure the template with the core triggers, actions, and conditions that represent the common workflow logic. Leave customizable parameters, such as email subjects or notification messages, as placeholders.
  • Document the Template: Add detailed documentation explaining the purpose, inputs, and intended use of the template.
  • Save the Template: Save the completed workflow as a template within your Enflow account.
  • Use the Template: To implement the template for a specific use case, simply select the "Use Template" option from the "Workflows" section. Enflow will create a new workflow based on your template, allowing you to customize the settings and parameters for that specific scenario.

Benefits of Workflow Templates

  • Efficient Workflow Creation: Templates eliminate the need to repeatedly rebuild the same workflow structure for similar tasks.
  • Improved Consistency: Templates ensure uniformity and adherence to established processes across different teams or projects.
  • Enhanced Collaboration: Sharing templates with team members promotes consistency and facilitates collaboration on shared tasks.

**Example Template:**

Consider a "Lead Follow-Up Template" that automates the process of contacting new leads. The template could include:

  • Trigger: "New Lead Added"
  • Action: "Send Welcome Email" (with customizable subject and body)
  • Condition: "If Lead is Not Responsive after 2 Days"
  • Action: "Send Reminder Email" (with customizable subject and body)

By creating and utilizing workflow templates, you can establish standardized automations, boost efficiency, and empower your team to effectively handle repetitive tasks.
