Managing Assets and Collections

Last updated August 9, 2024

Once you've created your PixVerse project, the next step is to manage the heart of your collection: your digital assets. This guide will walk you through the process of uploading, organizing, and refining your assets within PixVerse, making them ready for display and minting.

Managing Your Assets

  • Upload Your Assets: From your "My Projects" section, select the project where you want to add assets.
  • Supported File Types: Ensure your digital assets are in the supported file formats for PixVerse. Commonly accepted formats include images (JPEG, PNG, GIF) and videos (MP4, WebM).
  • File Size Limitations: There may be file size limits, so check the platform's guidelines before uploading.
  • Asset Details: As you upload each asset, you'll typically have the option to add details:
  • Title: Give your asset a descriptive title.
  • Description: Provide a brief, yet compelling description of your asset.
  • Tags: Attach relevant tags to categorize your asset and help others find it.
  • Organize Assets into Collections: To organize your assets effectively and create thematic groupings, use collections. Collections allow you to:
  • Create Sets: Group related assets under a specific theme or concept.
  • Arrange Display Order: Decide the sequence in which your assets will appear within a collection.
  • Add Collection Descriptions: Provide a more detailed description of each collection.
  • Update and Edit Assets:
  • Edit Asset Details: You can change the title, description, tags, and other details of an asset after uploading.
  • Replace Assets: If you need to upload a different version of an asset, you can usually replace the existing one.
  • Delete Assets: If you decide an asset is no longer needed, you can delete it from your project.

Best Practices for Asset Management

  • File Names: Use clear and descriptive file names for your assets, making it easier for you and others to identify them.
  • Metadata: Pay attention to the metadata (details) you add to each asset. Strong descriptions and relevant tags improve searchability.
  • Organization: Use collections effectively to create a structured and visually appealing presentation of your work.

By managing your assets and collections diligently, you create a polished and professional representation of your digital creations on PixVerse, enabling viewers to easily explore and appreciate your artistic vision.
