Customizing PaymentCloud Reports: Tailoring Insights to Your Needs

PaymentCloud's reporting tools provide a strong foundation for analyzing your business, but you can unlock even greater insights by tailoring reports to your specific requirements. This guide will walk you through the process of customizing reports within your PaymentCloud account.

Customizing Reports

  • Select a Report Type: Start by choosing the report type you want to customize. You can find various options under the "Reports" tab in your PaymentCloud dashboard.
  • Apply Filters: Use filters to narrow down the data included in your report:
  • Date Range: Choose a specific time frame to focus on particular periods, such as a month, quarter, or year.
  • Payment Method: Filter the report to include only certain payment methods, like credit cards, ACH transfers, or digital wallets.
  • Transaction Type: Select specific transaction types, such as sales, refunds, chargebacks, or authorizations.
  • Product or SKU: Filter the data to include only information related to specific products.
  • Sort and Order: Rearrange your report data according to specific criteria:
  • Sort by Column: Sort your data by any available column, such as transaction amount, date, or customer name.
  • Descending/Ascending Order: Choose whether to sort the data in ascending or descending order.
  • Export as CSV or Excel: Once you've customized your report, you can export it in a format that suits your needs. CSV or Excel files allow you to analyze the data further using spreadsheets or other data visualization tools.
  • Create Custom Report Templates: Some reporting systems allow you to save your customized reports as templates so you can easily access them again in the future.

By customizing your reports, you can focus on the specific data that matters most to you, gaining deeper insights into your business performance and enabling data-driven decision-making.
