Last updated July 25, 2024
Covenant Eyes' filtering system can block websites that you might need for work, school, or personal reasons. This guide will explain how to add specific websites to your “Allowed Websites” list so that you can access them while still benefitting from Covenant Eyes' filtering.
Adding Allowed Websites
- Log In to Your Account: Visit the Covenant Eyes website [https://www.covenanteyes.com/](https://www.covenanteyes.com/) and log in using your username and password.
- Access Filtering Settings: Navigate to your account settings or dashboard. Look for a section related to "Filtering," "Settings," or "Content Control."
- Find the “Allowed Websites” Option: Within the filtering settings, locate a section that allows you to add or manage allowed websites. This might be called "Allowed Websites", "Exceptions", or something similar.
- Enter Website Address: Click on the “Add Website” button or equivalent option and enter the full website address (URL) of the website you want to allow.
- Confirm the Addition: Review the website address to make sure it is correct and click on "Save", "Add", or similar to confirm the change.
Managing Your Allowed Websites
- Review Your List: Access your “Allowed Websites” list to review the sites you've added.
- Delete Websites: If you no longer need to allow a specific website, click on the "Delete" or "Remove" button next to its URL.
- Modify Permissions: Some Covenant Eyes accounts allow you to modify the level of access for each allowed website. You might be able to allow access only to specific parts of the site or restrict certain types of content within the allowed site.
- Check for Updates: Covenant Eyes may update its filtering system periodically, which could impact the effectiveness of your allowed website list. Review the list regularly and make adjustments as needed.
- Contact Support: If you're having trouble adding or managing allowed websites, contact Covenant Eyes support for assistance.
