Integrating with External Applications

Step 1: Access the Integration Settings
- Log in to your StepWise account: Navigate to getstepwise.com and log in using your credentials.
- Go to Settings: Click on your profile icon in the top right corner and select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Select Integrations: In the settings menu, locate and click on the "Integrations" tab to access the integration options.
Step 2: Choose the Application to Integrate
- Browse Available Integrations: In the Integrations tab, browse the list of available applications that can be integrated with StepWise.
- Select the Desired Application: Click on the application you want to integrate. For example, if you wish to integrate with Slack, select "Slack" from the list.
Step 3: Connect the Application
- Authorize Access: Click on the "Connect" button next to the application name. You will be redirected to the application’s authorization page.
- Grant Permissions: Follow the prompts to grant StepWise the necessary permissions to access your account in the external application.
- Confirm Connection: Once authorized, you will be redirected back to StepWise, and a confirmation message will appear indicating that the application has been successfully connected.
Step 4: Configure Integration Settings
- Customize Integration Settings: Depending on the application, you may have various settings to configure. For instance, if integrating with a calendar app, you can choose which calendars to sync.
- Set Preferences: Adjust preferences such as notification settings, data sync frequency, and other customizable options to tailor the integration to your needs.
- Save Settings: Click “Save” to apply your configurations.
Step 5: Test the Integration
- Verify Functionality: Perform a few test actions to ensure that the integration is functioning correctly. For example, create a new task in StepWise and check if it appears in your connected calendar.
- Monitor for Issues: Keep an eye on the integration for any issues or errors. If any arise, revisit the integration settings or consult StepWise support for assistance.
