Managing Transactions

Managing your transactions efficiently is key to maintaining a healthy financial portfolio. Finch makes it easy to view, categorize, and manage all your financial transactions in one place. Follow the steps below to get started.

Viewing Transactions

  • Open the Finch app and log in to your account.
  • Navigate to the "Transactions" tab from the main menu.
  • Browse through your recent transactions which are listed by date.

Categorizing Transactions

  • Select a transaction you wish to categorize.
  • Tap on the "Category" option.
  • Choose the appropriate category from the provided list such as "Groceries", "Rent", or "Utilities".

Editing Transactions

  • Locate the transaction you want to edit in the transactions list.
  • Tap on the transaction to open its details.
  • Select "Edit" to update the relevant information like amount or category.
  • Save your changes once you are done.

Adding Notes to Transactions

  • Find the transaction you want to add a note to.
  • Tap on the transaction to open its details.
  • Select the "Add Note" option.
  • Type your notes and tap "Save" to keep them with the transaction.

Deleting Transactions

  • Go to the transaction you want to delete.
  • Open the transaction details by tapping on it.
  • Tap the "Delete" option and confirm to remove the transaction from your list.
