Using Rootly's Webhook Integration

Rootly's webhook integration provides a powerful way to connect your monitoring data with other tools and services, enabling you to automate tasks, trigger actions, and extend Rootly's functionality within your existing workflows.

Setting Up Webhook Integration

  • Navigate to the Integrations section: From the Rootly dashboard, click on the "Integrations" tab within the navigation bar.
  • Select the Webhook integration: Locate the "Webhook" integration and click on it.
  • Configure your webhook: Provide the following information:
  • Webhook URL: Enter the URL of your external service or application that will receive the webhook notifications.
  • Trigger Events: Choose which events you want to trigger webhook notifications. These events can include:

  • Triggering a Status Page Update: Update a status page with the status of critical services when a monitor experiences downtime.
