Compatibility Issues with Immersed

Last updated June 7, 2024

Immersed offers extensive cross-platform compatibility, yet there may be certain instances when you encounter compatibility issues. This guide outlines some of those common issues and offers solutions.

Troubleshooting Compatibility Issues

  • Issue 1 - Operating System Compatibility: Immersed supports Windows, Mac, and Linux. If you're experiencing functionality issues, ensure that your operating system is updated to one of the latest versions supported by Immersed.
  • Issue 2 - VR Headset Compatibility: Immersed works best with Oculus Quest and Quest 2, but it supports other VR headsets too. Check our website for the complete list of supported VR headsets.
  • Issue 3 - Second Monitor Not Detected: Ensure that your additional monitor is properly connected and detected by your PC. Sometimes, a simple restart of your PC and Immersed app can fix this issue.
  • Issue 4 - Performance Issues on Lower-End Hardware: If Immersed is running slow or lagging on your device, consider adjusting down the quality settings in the application or closing other resource-heavy applications while using Immersed.
  • Issue 5 - App Crashes/Freezes: Make sure you're running the latest version of Immersed. If the app still crashes or freezes, contact our support team with the specifics of your device and the issue.

Keep in mind, compatibility issues may vary based on individual device configurations. Always make sure your device drivers are up-to-date and contact our support team for more complex or persistent issues.
