Understanding Your CGFNS Dashboard

Maintaining a secure CGFNS account is crucial to protect your personal information and ensure smooth access to the services you need.  If you forget your password or have concerns about account security, follow these steps to reset your password and enhance your account protection.

 Go to the CGFNS website (http://www.cgfns.org) and locate the "Forgot Password" or "Reset Password" link, typically found on the login page or customer support section.

  Enter the email address associated with your CGFNS account. 

  CGFNS will send you a password reset link to your registered email address.

  Open the email and click on the provided link. This will redirect you to a password reset page.

  Enter a new, strong password that meets the specified criteria. Make sure your new password is at least 8 characters long, includes a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

 Re-enter your new password to confirm it. 

  Click on the "Save Changes" or "Reset Password" button to complete the process.  You can now log in using your new password.

 For best security practices, change your password every 90 days or more frequently.

 If available, activate two-factor authentication for an extra layer of security.  This  requires an additional code, often sent to your mobile phone, in addition to your password when signing in.

  Choose complex passwords that are difficult to guess. Avoid using easily guessable information like birthdays or names.

  Always log out of your account when you finish using it on a public computer.
