Setting Permissions and Access Controls

Kudoboard empowers you to control who can view and edit your Kudoboard, ensuring it aligns with your privacy needs and intentions. You can set specific permissions to manage access, allowing you to share your creation with a select group or keep it private for a chosen audience.
Permission and Access Controls
- Setting View Permissions:
- Click "Share": Open the Kudoboard you want to manage and click the "Share" button near the top right corner.
- Select "Share Settings": Choose the "Share Settings" option from the menu.
- Control Visibility: Choose from the following options:
- Public: Anyone with the link can view your Kudoboard.
- Private: Only those you specifically invite or who have the share link can view your Kudoboard.
- Password Protected: Add a password that must be entered to access your Kudoboard.
- Setting Edit Permissions:
- Click "Share": Open the Kudoboard you want to manage and click the "Share" button.
- Select "Edit Permissions": Choose the "Edit Permissions" option, which will display the list of contributors invited to your Kudoboard.
- Choose Editing Level: For each contributor, you can select their editing level:
- Add content only: Contributors can only add messages, images, videos, and links.
- Edit content: Contributors can edit the content of the Kudoboard, but they cannot make changes to the design or make it public.
- Full control: Contributors have full editing rights, including the ability to edit, delete, rearrange content, and even make the Kudoboard public.
- Creating Co-Owners:
- Click "Share": Open the Kudoboard you want to manage and click the "Share" button.
- Select "Co-Owners": Choose "Co-owners" to give other users full editing rights, allowing them to manage and update the Kudoboard alongside you.
- Removing Permissions:
- Click "Share": Open the Kudoboard you want to manage and click the "Share" button.
- Remove Contributors: Use the "Edit Permissions" menu to remove any contributors, limiting their access to your Kudoboard.
By setting appropriate permissions, you can ensure that your Kudoboard is viewed and shared as intended, reflecting your privacy preferences and the specific purpose of your creation.
