Backup and Restore Procedures

Ensuring the security and availability of your data is crucial. This article will guide you through the procedures for backing up and restoring your data on Cloudways.
Backup Procedures
- Log in to your Cloudways platform.
- Navigate to the "Servers" tab.
- Select the server you want to back up.
- Click on the "Manage Services" button.
- Scroll down to the "Backup" section.
- Click on "Take Backup Now" to manually initiate a backup.
- Verify that the backup process has completed successfully.
Restore Procedures
- Log in to your Cloudways platform.
- Navigate to the "Servers" tab.
- Select the server you want to restore.
- Click on the "Manage Services" button.
- Scroll down to the "Backup" section.
- Click on "Restore" and select the backup you wish to restore from the list.
- Confirm the restoration process by clicking on "Restore Now".
- Wait for the restoration process to complete and verify that your server has been restored to the chosen backup point.
