Cancelling an Order on My American Shop
At My American Shop, we understand that your plans can change, or you may have made a mistake during your order placement. This guide will help you cancel your order promptly and hassle-free, as long as it hasn't already shipped.
Order Cancellation Eligibility
To ensure a seamless cancellation process, please confirm that your order meets the following criteria:
Cancelling an Order
Follow these steps to cancel your order:
1. **Login to Your Account**: Visit the My American Shop website and login to your account.
2. **Access Order History**: Click on "My Account" in the top-right corner, then select "Order History".
3. **Identify the Order**: Browse through your list of orders. Find the order you want to cancel and make sure it's eligible for cancellation (i.e., order status is "Pending" or "Processing").
4. **Cancel the Order**: To the right of the eligible order, you'll find a "Cancel" button. Click on it to initiate the cancellation process.
5. **Confirm Cancellation**: A confirmation pop-up will appear asking you to confirm your decision to cancel the order. Click on "Confirm Cancellation" to proceed.
After successfully canceling your order, you'll receive an order cancellation confirmation email with the order number and cancelled items list. If your payment method was charged for the cancelled order, the refund process will begin once we confirm the cancellation, and you'll receive a refund in the same tender used for the original purchase.
**Note:** During peak shopping periods or promotions, orders may be shipped quickly to ensure prompt delivery. In such cases, there's a higher possibility that your order will already be on its way by the time you try to cancel it. We strongly recommend canceling your orders as soon as possible if you have any doubts.
