Once you've set up your Elfster exchange, it's time to bring in the fun! Inviting your friends and family to participate is a simple process. Here's how:
Inviting Participants:
- Step 1: Get Your Invite Link: Go to the "Participants" section of your exchange. You'll find a unique invite link.
- Step 2: Share the Link:
- Email: Copy the link and paste it into an email message.
- Social Media: Post the link on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
- Text Message: Send the link via text message.
- Step 3: Include a Personal Touch:
- Custom Message: Add a personal note to your invite, explaining the theme, rules, and dates of the exchange.
- Enthusiasm: Get people excited about joining your fun gift exchange!
Direct Invites:
- Step 1: Add Participants Manually: Go to the "Participants" section and click "Add Participants."
- Step 2: Enter Details: Fill in each participant's name, email address, and optional phone number.
- Step 3: Send Invites: Elfster will automatically send out invitation emails to the participants you've added.
Tracking Invitations:
- Participant Status: Go to the "Participants" section of your exchange. You'll see the status of each participant:
- Invited: The invitation has been sent.
- Joined: The participant has accepted the invitation.
Important Tips:
- Set a Deadline: Give your friends and family a deadline to RSVP so you can finalize participant numbers.
- Communicate Clearly: Make sure the invitation message includes all the important details about the exchange, including the theme, rules, and deadlines.
- Stay Organized: Keep track of who has joined and who hasn't to ensure everyone is included.
