Managing Booking Requests

Last updated August 7, 2024

Booqable's booking system simplifies the process of managing booking requests, allowing you to efficiently handle customer inquiries and confirm bookings. This guide will walk you through the steps of managing booking requests within Booqable.

Reviewing Booking Requests

1. **Notifications:** Receive real-time notifications whenever a new booking request is submitted. You'll be alerted through email or within your Booqable dashboard.

2. **Accessing booking details:** Click on the booking notification to access details like the requested product, dates, customer information, and any special requests.

3. **Checking availability:** Confirm the availability of the requested product for the specified dates. You can view the calendar to ensure there are no conflicts.

4. **Reviewing customer information:** Review the customer's contact information and any special requests they have provided.

Confirming Bookings

  • Accepting bookings: If the product is available and you're ready to confirm the booking, click the "Confirm Booking" button.
  • Sending booking confirmations: Once confirmed, Booqable automatically sends a booking confirmation email to the customer with all the essential details.
  • Setting payment options: Choose the payment method for the booking, whether it's online payment or manual payment.
  • Providing instructions: If necessary, add specific instructions or notes for the customer regarding the booking, pickup, or return of the product.
  • Communicating with customers: Use the built-in messaging system within Booqable to communicate with customers regarding any clarifications or additional information.

Managing Booking Changes and Cancellations

  • Handling booking updates: If a customer needs to update their booking details (e.g., change dates or add additional products), use the "Edit Booking" option.
  • Processing cancellations: If a customer needs to cancel their booking, use the "Cancel Booking" option.
  • Issuing refunds: For cancellations, process refunds according to your cancellation policy.
  • Keeping customers informed: Communicate any changes or updates regarding the booking to the customer via email or the messaging system.
