OfficeRnD allows you to create customized booking policies for your meeting rooms, desks, and other resources to ensure smooth operations and manage workspace availability effectively. This guide outlines the key steps involved in setting up and managing your booking policies.
Creating Booking Policies
- Access Policy Settings:
- Navigate to the "Bookings" section of your OfficeRnD dashboard.
- Select the "Policy Settings" tab.
- Create a New Policy:
- Click on the "Add Policy" button to create a new booking policy.
- Define Policy Name and Description:
- Give your policy a clear and descriptive name (e.g., "Default Meeting Room Policy", "Hot Desking Policy").
- Provide a brief description outlining the purpose and key features of the policy.
- Configure Booking Limits:
- Set booking limits:
- Maximum Booking Duration: Determine the maximum time members can book a resource (e.g., 2 hours, 4 hours).
- Advance Booking Time: Define how far in advance members can book resources (e.g., 1 day, 1 week).
- Bookable Time Blocks: Specify available booking time slots for the resource (e.g., weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm).
- Assign Access Rules:
- Define who can book the resource:
- Everyone: Allow all members to book the resource.
- Specific Groups: Limit booking to members within certain groups (e.g., "Marketing Team").
- Individuals: Restric booking to specific individual members.
- Enable or Disable Features:
- Choose whether to enable or disable optional features:
- Booking Approval: Require admin approval for bookings before they are confirmed.
- Cancellation Policy: Set a policy for cancellations and associated charges.
- Apply Policy to Resources:
- Select the resources to which you want to apply the policy.
- Click "Save Changes" to apply the policy.
