Adding Annotations and Call-to-Actions

Enhance your Loom videos with annotations and call-to-actions (CTAs) to engage your viewers and direct them to take specific actions. Follow these steps to add annotations and CTAs to your videos.

Steps:

  1. Open the Video Editor:
  • Select the video you want to edit from your Loom library and click on the "Edit" button.
  1. Adding Annotations:
  • Click on the "Annotations" tab in the editor.
  • Choose the type of annotation you want to add, such as text, arrows, or shapes.
  • Click on the video timeline to place your annotation and customize its appearance and duration.
  1. Customizing Annotations:
  • Adjust the size, color, and position of your annotations to fit your video's style.
  • Use the timeline to set when and how long each annotation appears in the video.
  1. Adding Call-to-Actions:
  • Click on the "CTA" tab in the editor.
  • Select the type of CTA you want to add, such as a button or link.
  • Enter the text and URL for your CTA and customize its appearance.
  1. Placing and Timing CTAs:
  • Drag the CTA to the desired location on the video.
  • Use the timeline to set the start and end times for the CTA to appear.
  1. Preview and Save:
  • Preview your video to ensure the annotations and CTAs appear correctly.
  • Click "Save" to apply the changes to your video.
