Loom provides a range of basic video editing tools that allow you to enhance and customize your recordings. This guide will walk you through the essential editing features available on Loom.
Steps:
- Accessing the Editing Tools:
- After recording a video, click on the video thumbnail in your Loom library to open it.
- Click on the "Edit" button located at the top right corner of the video player.
- Trimming Your Video:
- Use the trimming tool to cut out unwanted parts from the beginning or end of your video.
- Drag the handles on the timeline to select the portion you want to keep and click "Save."
- Cutting and Splitting:
- Use the cut tool to remove specific sections from the middle of your video.
- Click on the timeline where you want to make a cut, then drag the handles to select the segment you want to remove and click "Cut."
- Adding Clips:
- Combine multiple recordings by adding clips to your video.
- Click on "Add Clip," select the video you want to include, and arrange it in the timeline.
- Previewing and Saving Edits:
- Preview your changes by playing the video within the editor.
- Once satisfied with your edits, click "Save" to update your video.
