The prompt is the foundation of your image creation journey with Midjourney. It's your creative brief, telling the AI what you envision. The more descriptive and specific your prompt, the more likely you are to get the results you desire. 

 Use descriptive keywords to describe the subject, scene, or objects in your image. For example: "cat", "sunset", "cityscape", "robot", "forest", etc.

 You can specify the style of your image by adding keywords like "realistic", "fantasy", "abstract", "impressionist", "cyberpunk", etc. 

 You can influence the composition of your image by using keywords like "portrait", "landscape", "close-up", "wide-angle", etc.

  Keywords like "happy", "sad", "scary", "mystical", "calm", etc. can help set the mood and feeling of your image.

 Be as specific as possible about the details you want in your image. For example, instead of "a cat", use "a ginger cat with green eyes" or "a cat wearing a hat."

Understanding Prompts

Once you've generated your initial images, Midjourney offers two powerful tools to refine and enhance your results: variations and upscaling. 

 After your initial images are generated,  you'll see a series of numbered squares. Clicking on a square will open a larger view of the image, and you'll see a "V" button. Clicking on "V" will generate four new variations of the selected image, exploring different artistic interpretations and variations within the prompt. 

 By generating variations, you can quickly explore different possibilities and find the image that best fits your vision.

 You can upscale your favorite image to a higher resolution for printing or other use cases. 

  Click the "U" button on an image to upscale it. The bot will work on generating a higher-resolution version of your selected image. 

 You can choose between a "normal" or "higher" upscale quality depending on the level of detail you desire.

Creating Variations and Upscaling

Parameters are powerful tools that allow you to fine-tune your Midjourney prompts, giving you more control over the final image. By adding parameters, you can specify aspects like aspect ratio, style, resolution, and more.

 Change the shape of your image with parameters like `--ar 16:9` (landscape), `--ar 9:16` (portrait), `--ar 1:1` (square).

 Influence the style of your image with parameters like `--style photorealistic`, `--style fantasy`, `--style anime`, `--style cyberpunk`, etc.

 Generate images at different levels of resolution. Use `--quality normal`, `--quality high` or `--quality rough` to experiment with different image qualities.

 Experiment with other parameters like `--seed` (to set a specific random seed for your image), `--zoom` (to zoom in on a specific part of the image), `--no` (to exclude certain elements), etc.
