Tasks are the building blocks of your projects in Nexus Reform. Understanding how to create, manage, and track tasks is essential for keeping your projects on schedule and ensuring successful completion. 

  Within your project, select the "Tasks" tab to access the task management feature. 

  Enter a clear and descriptive title for your task. This should clearly communicate what needs to be done.

 Provide a detailed description of the task, including any necessary context or instructions for the assignee.

 Select the team member who will be responsible for completing the task.

  Set the priority level of the task (e.g., high, medium, low) to indicate urgency.

Add to Existing Milestone (if applicable):

  If the task is part of a specific milestone, link it to that milestone.

  Save the new task by clicking the "Create Task" button.

 Click on a task to view its details, including the description, assignee, due date, status, and comments.

 As the task progresses, update its status to reflect its current completion stage (e.g., "In Progress," "Completed").

 If needed, you can reassign a task to a different team member.

  You can modify the title, description, due date, priority, and other task details as needed.

  Leave comments on tasks to provide updates, clarify instructions, or ask questions.

 When a task is finished, mark it as "Complete" to indicate that it is no longer actively being worked on.

  Use the filters and sorting options to easily manage and prioritize your tasks. For example, you can filter by due date, priority, status, or assignee.

 The task list provides a visual representation of the progress of each task, including its status, due date, and priority. 

 Visual progress bars will appear on tasks that have a completion percentage. This helps to visualize the level of completion for each task. 

  You'll receive notifications when tasks are assigned, updated, completed, or commented on. This helps you stay informed about the progress of your project.

Creating and Managing Tasks

Workflows and automation are powerful tools in Nexus Reform that help streamline your project processes, reduce manual effort, and ensure tasks are completed efficiently. 

 A workflow defines a sequence of tasks that need to be completed in a specific order. 

   Workflows define dependencies between tasks, meaning that certain tasks must be completed before others can be started.

  Workflows can be used to automate certain actions, such as automatically assigning tasks, sending notifications, or updating task statuses.

 Within your project, select the "Workflows" tab to access the workflow management feature.

 Choose a clear and descriptive name for your workflow (e.g., "Design Review Workflow").

  Select the tasks that will be part of this workflow.

 Arrange the tasks in the desired sequence. 

 Indicate which tasks must be completed before others can start (e.g., Task A must be completed before Task B can begin).

  Configure automation actions for your workflow, such as:

  Click "Save Workflow" to finalize your workflow setup.

 Choose an appropriate workflow for your project and apply it to your tasks. 

 Tracks the progress of your workflows through the "Workflows" tab, which provides an overview of task completion status.

 As your project evolves, you can modify existing workflows to reflect changes or add new workflows as needed.

 Workflows streamline project processes, reduce manual effort, and improve task completion times.

  Workflows ensure that tasks are completed in a logical order and that team members are aware of their dependencies.

  Automation within workflows minimizes the risk of human error, ensuring that tasks are completed accurately.

 Automated notifications keep team members informed of task progress and changes in workflow status.

Utilizing Workflows and Automation

Milestones are significant checkpoints or achievements in your project. They break down larger projects into manageable phases, making it easier to track progress and ensure deadlines are met. 

 Within your project, select the "Milestones" tab to access the milestone management feature.

  Give your milestone a clear and descriptive title. This should clearly communicate the objective or goal of the milestone.

 Provide a brief description of the milestone, including the key tasks and deliverables expected within this phase. 

 Set a realistic due date for the milestone.

  You can link existing tasks to the milestone by selecting them from the list. 

  Save the new milestone by clicking the "Create Milestone" button.

  Click on a milestone to view its details, including the description, due date, linked tasks, and overall progress.

  If necessary, adjust the due date of the milestone to reflect any changes in the project timeline.

  You can modify the milestone description to provide additional context or updates. 

  Link existing tasks to the milestone or remove tasks that are no longer relevant.

 When the milestone is complete, mark it as "Completed" to indicate that all tasks within that phase have been finished.

  The milestone list provides a visual representation of the progress of each milestone, including its status, due date, and linked tasks.
